Attorney Lynn Jinks Receives Humanitarian Award at Bullock County Achievers Awards

Jinks Crow Trial Lawyers is proud to share that Attorney Lynn Jinks has been honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 21st Annual Y.C. Nance Bullock County Achievers Awards Celebration Banquet.
The banquet was held Sunday, September 20, at South Highlands Middle School, bringing community members together to honor local leaders, recognize achievements, and celebrate the legacy of the late Y.C. Nance. This year's guest speaker, Dr. Richard Bailey, Ph.D., presented a program built around the banquet's theme, "There's No Place Like Home."
The Humanitarian Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Bullock County and its citizens. For Lynn, this honor reflects something that has always been true: his roots in Bullock County run deep, and his commitment to the people and community of Union Springs has never wavered.
A Legacy of Service
The awards are presented each year by the Y.C. Nance Memorial Foundation, which honors community members who have given selflessly to improve life in Union Springs and Bullock County.
To be recognized in his name is a meaningful honor, and one that speaks to the kind of quiet, lasting service the foundation celebrates.
Rooted in Union Springs
This year's theme, "There's No Place Like Home," could not have been more fitting. Union Springs is home for Lynn, and it remains home for Jinks Crow. The firm's Union Springs office on North Prairie Street keeps us close to the neighbors, families, and community that shaped Lynn long before he became a trial lawyer.
Lynn founded the firm about 50 years ago, and he has been active in community affairs ever since. The Bullock County Voters League has recognized him for outstanding community service. He has also served on the Board of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra and as President of the Union Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Today, Lynn serves on the Union Springs City Council. He also sits on the Executive Committee and Board of the Alabama Partnership for Children, a nationally recognized organization that promotes early childhood education. He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Union Springs, where he serves as church council chairperson.
Lynn and his wife, Charlotte Vaughan Jinks, have been married for 54 years.
"Lynn has never forgotten where he came from," said Christy Crow, Managing Attorney at Jinks Crow. "Long before anyone was handing out awards, he was showing up for the people of Bullock County. This recognition means so much because it comes from the community he loves, and all of us at Jinks Crow are incredibly proud of him."
Congratulations, Lynn
Everyone at Jinks Crow congratulates Lynn on this well-deserved recognition. We also thank the Y.C. Nance Memorial Foundation for its continued work honoring the people who make Bullock County stronger, and we congratulate all of this year's honorees.
