Three attorneys at Jinks Crow Trial Lawyers have been named to leadership roles with organizations that shape trial advocacy, the legal profession, and access to safe housing in Alabama. Managing Attorney Christy Crow is the new Treasurer of the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Attorney Lisa Littell has joined the Board of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers. Attorney Kijana Mitchell has been appointed to the board of the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama.
As a woman-owned trial law firm based in Montgomery and Union Springs, Jinks Crow believes the work of a lawyer does not stop at the courthouse door. These appointments reflect the time and leadership our attorneys give to the legal community and to the people of Alabama.
Christy Crow Named Treasurer of the Alabama Chapter of ABOTA

Christy Crow, Managing Attorney of Jinks Crow, has been named Treasurer of the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. ABOTA is a national association of trial lawyers and judges dedicated to preserving the constitutional right to a civil jury trial. Membership is by invitation and requires substantial jury trial experience.
In her role as Treasurer, Christy will help guide the chapter’s finances and support its mission of promoting civility, professionalism, and public understanding of the jury system. Christy was also named to Business Alabama’s 2026 Legal Elite list.
Lisa Littell Joins the Board of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers

Lisa Littell has been appointed to the Board of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers, an organization dedicated to advancing women in trial practice. Her appointment reflects her leadership and standing among her peers.
Lisa has practiced law since 2002, with a focus on mass tort and personal injury litigation. She has worked on medical device and pharmaceutical litigation including BioZorb, Medtronic, GLP-1 (Ozempic and Wegovy), IVC filters, and Xarelto. She has completed the highest level of mediation training sanctioned by the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution. In 2020, the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Access to Justice Commission named her an Attorney for Justice for her pro bono service.
Kijana Mitchell Appointed to the Low Income Housing Coalition Board of Alabama

Attorney Kijana Mitchell has been appointed to the board of the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama. Kijana is known for holding negligent landlords accountable and for standing up for tenants who are living in unsafe conditions. Her new board role connects that work in the courtroom to broader efforts for safe, decent, affordable housing.
Kijana’s commitment to the community extends well beyond her caseload. She recently hosted a free legal clinic in Union Springs, giving local residents direct access to legal information at no cost. She volunteers throughout the community and supports Safety First, the Jinks Crow high school scholarship program.
