Charlie Hudson

Attorney

Charlie was raised in Meriwether County, Georgia, and has called Alabama home since 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree from Troy University in 2009 and went on to receive his law degree from the Thomas G. Jones School of Law in 2012.

Charlie is a plaintiff’s trial attorney who represents individuals and families in Alabama and Georgia in serious personal injury and insurance disputes. His practice is focused on holding corporations, trucking companies, and insurance carriers accountable when their conduct causes harm. He has extensive experience managing cases from initial intake through trial and appeal, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and appellate advocacy. Known for his ability to handle a high-volume caseload without sacrificing results, Charlie has secured substantial recoveries for his clients through both settlements and verdicts.

His experience includes representing clients in a wide range of cases, including tractor-trailer collisions, bad faith insurance claims, premises liability, and complex property damage matters. He has successfully handled significant appellate matters, including Ex parte Sanders, 314 So. 3d 1226 (Ala. 2020), where he obtained a writ overturning an improper venue transfer, and Marina v. Bama Reinforcing, LLC, 416 So. 3d 167 (Ala. 2024), where he secured reversal of a judgment as a matter of law in favor of the defendant.

Charlie has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for his clients across Alabama and Georgia, including multiple six-figure results in trucking cases, insurance bad faith claims, and premises liability matters.

He is licensed to practice in both Alabama and Georgia and is an active member of the Alabama Association for Justice and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney in Alabama.

Charlie is married to Georgia Ann Hudson of Stockton, Alabama. Together, they have two children and are active members of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Montgomery. Outside the courtroom, he enjoys Troy University football, spending time at his children’s sporting events, and fishing with his son.
